Starting the game |
|
First, highlight the
"Space Falcon Commander" icon in the game menu on your phone. Once
the game is highlighted, press 'Select' (OK) to start
the game. After the splash screen, Space Falcon
Commander will take you to the Main Menu.

Main Menu |
- New Game: Allows you to begin a new game of
Space Falcon Commander.
- Continue: If you are returning to the action,
there will be given the option to continue the game
from the level where you left off.
- Options: Within this menu you can toggle sound
and customize the controls.
- Help/About: The "Help/About" section contains
instructions on how to play the game, and a legal
section that offers customer service info and
copyright information.
- Exit: Selecting this option allows you to exit
the application.

Movement |
You
can move up (2), down (8), left (4), and right (6) by
pressing the keys or using the joystick. All movement and action keys can be configured.

Attacking |
There are 3 types of attacks your ship
can perform: primary, alternate and special. The primary
weapon is always available and has 4 levels with an
additional bonus weapon power-up. There are 3 types of
alternate weapons each requiring special ammo: Laser
Gun, Homing Missile and Electro Line. You can see the
icon and the ammo for the currently available alternate
weapon in the middle of the HUD (heads up display).
Press 1 or 3 to use the alternate weapon. A special
weapon is earned when you fill an energy bar in the
upper-left part of the screen. The bar is filled by
consecutively shooting aliens. It takes 10 aliens to
fill the bar. If you die the bar becomes empty. When the
special weapon is available the bar is replaced with a
blinking text indicating that the weapon is ready to use
by pressing 7 or 9.

Saving/Loading |
Space Falcon
Commander saves your current game progress so you can
return and play from the level you left off at. In the
Main Menu, select "Continue" to resume your game for
your last session.

Online Highscores |
Your highscore is submitable to the
online "Hall of Fame" where you can compete against
other Space Falcon Commander players around the world!
You will need to create an account first with a unique
user name. If you already have a highscore in the Hall
of Fame and you submit a better one, then the old score
will be removed. There is only one score allowed for
each player and this is done to prevent 4-5 people
taking up all the hall of fame lists.
